MS Ramaiah College of LAW Admission

In the year 1995 MS Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore was established by Dr. Sri M.S.Ramaiah with the approval of the Bar Council of India.

 It is also known as MSRCL Bangalore. MSRCL is affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University (Hubballi).

  • ADR Society: This society of RCL Bangalore conducts various National level events for the students in order to bring General awareness of the Alternative Dispute Resolution System.

BA, LLB/BBA, LLB/B.Com, LLB Integrated Programme

  • Candidates have to apply and appear for CLAT.
  • Candidates have to apply online on the website of the college based on their CLAT scores.
  • Candidates who have scored less than 50% in CLAT have to take RCL Entrance Test and appear in a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the APRC. 
  • Candidates have to qualify for both – the entrance test and the PI.
  • Final admission will be based on merit and performance in the interview.
  • Candidates who have scored at least 50% or above marks in CLAT are exempted from the test and they will be called.

MS Ramaiah Law College Admission Application Form

  • a) An applicant for MS Ramaiah Law College Admission who has successfully completed Pre-University Course or Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalents such as (11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognised University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognised by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the course.

    Provided that applicants for MS Ramaiah Law College Admission who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission to the course.

    Provided further that the MS Ramaiah Law College Admission applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation or post graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission to the course.
     
  • b) Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination for MS Ramaiah Law College Admission shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) of total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%) of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
     
  • c) Maximum age for seeking admission is limited to twenty years in case of general category of applicants and to twenty two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and other backward communities as on 1 st June.
